Designer, educator, and visual thinker with over 20 years of experience in graphic design, user research, front- end web development, and project management, I create meaningful human-centered experiences across both digital and physical spaces.
Whether building a website, or designing a brand or a museum exhibit, I focus on shaping the emotions, information, and structure people need.
As a post-secondary instructor, I am fascinated by how my diverse students navigate their learning journeys and unlock their potential. This curiosity drives my commitment to leveraging technology and human connection to create inclusive, transformational educational experiences.
Born to British and French parents and raised in the heyday of the European Union, I settled in the K’ómoks First Nation territories on Vancouver Island over 20 years ago.
Talk to me about new ideas, colour, typography, diverse ways of thinking and perceiving, design thinking and systems, learning experiences, social justice, sustainable gardening, or theatre set and prop design.

Hobbies
Fine Art
Fine art has been a lifelong passion and pursuit of mine, inspired by traditional French Beaux-Arts skills, Japanese composition, and the nature I encounter during my many forest and river walks.
Theatre Set Design
Community theatre is an interest I share with my daughter. While she acts and sings, I design and paint the sets. I also enjoy making costumes, props, and doing makeup. Three times winner of the Best Set Design Award at the North Island Zone Theatre Festival, through Courtenay Little Theatre.
Gardening and Nature
Nothing inspires and relaxes me more than going for a dog walk in the woods, by the river, or spending a couple of hours in my garden listening to music.
Travel
I am a keen and experienced traveller, having lived and studied in four countries and travelled solo across Asia, Africa, North America and Europe. Certified as a PADI divemaster in Thailand.
